The 2025 Annual Conference Session will be in session June 5 - 7 at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, KS. Our theme this year is Loving God, and it is the first in several years of themes keyed toward the greatest commandment shared in Deuteronomy 6 and that Jesus shared in Matthew 22. We will have 10 district voting sites for clergy and lay members to annual conference on Friday, June 6, only.

  • Addendum updated May 29, 2025 — reflects additional slots filled from the Nominations team and a correction to one line of the budget summary chart.

Proposed Constitutional Amendments

In addition to inspiring worship and a teaching time about our United Methodist roots, included in our business this year are votes to ratify four amendments to the United Methodist Church Constitution. You can learn more about them at these links:

Volunteers Needed

Annual conference takes a lot of people-power to run smoothly. And we need your help! In total, we need more than 200 people to assist with hospitality and other functions at annual conference. In particular, we still need volunteers to help as ushers and hosts, to assist with clean-up, and to serve as tellers during votes.

If you feel called to help in one or more of these ways, please click the button below or sign up online here.

District Voting Sites

In addition to the clergy and lay members to annual conference who will be present at Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina, KS, we will have one remote voting site in each district on Friday, June 6, the day when we will vote on the amendments. June 6 is the only day the remote sites will be open.

Clergy, including retirees, and lay members who register for annual conference and note that they are taking part at a remote site must be aware that they will be able to vote, but will not have voice. In other words, they will be able to hear and watch the debate, but they will not be able to speak to any of the business on the floor.
