William Doran, 95; retired Great Plains Conference elder. Born Feb. 5, 1930; died July 5, 2025.
Doran was a Methodist pastor for more than 40 years, serving former Nebraska Conference churches in Emerald, Douglas-Burr, Hardy-Byron, Hebron, Kearney, Kearney-Newark, Lincoln St. Mark's and Grand Island Trinity before his retirement in 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Delores; two children, Bob and Linda; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Broomfield UMC, Broomfield, Colo.
