A graduate of Saint Paul School of Theology, he served more than 25 churches in his career, including Tecumseh, Topeka First (associate), Kansas City Central Avenue, Hiawatha First, Lawrence First, KCK Trinity, Wichita West Heights, Sedgwick, Independence First, Denton-Troy, Eskridge-Harveyville and McLouth-Winchester. After retirement in 2001, he served Basehor, Kansas State University campus ministry, Blue Valley Memorial, Lansing Crossroads, Ottawa First and Stull until he re-retired in 2016.
HIs is survived by his wife, Margee; children Gordon {Nancy) and Beth (Bob), stepson Tony (Crista); and nine grandchildren.
Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Resurrection West, Olathe. Visitation will precede the services at 1 p.m.
