Rev. Robert Danson Simison, 100; retired Great Plains Conference elder. Born April 27, 1925; died Oct. 22, 2025.
An Army Air Corps veteran, Simison received his master's in theology and Christian education from Iliff School of Theology in Denver.
He served former Kansas West Conference churches in Bird City, Ness City, Mankato-Montrose, Wichita Dawson, Derby Madison Avenue, Burdett-Rozell, Cheney and Wichita College Hill, from where he retired in 1990.
He married Pearl Powitzky in 1949. She died in 2021.
Survivors include his children, Robert Lynn Simison and Debra Jean (DJ) Simison; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
