Nieta Devor, 76; wife of retired Great Plains Conference clergy. Born May 2, 1948; died Jan. 16, 2025.
She married Rev. Jerel Devor in 1967. He served churches in Udall, Hutchinson and Bucklin. In their later years, the couple was active in Meriden UMC.
Devor was a career employee with the Social Security Administration, retiring in 2009.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Jerel Devor; children, Craig Devor (Joy), Brad Devor (Emily) and Lori Devor; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life gathering will begin with visitation at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 24, in The Well at Foley United Methodist Church in Foley, Ala. Memorial donations can be made to Foley UMC scholarship fund, and Baldwin Family Village.
