Linda Battello, 78; retired Great Plains Conference clergy. Born Oct. 23, 1946; died May 8, 2025.
After working in retail and as a mental health professional, she received her Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in 1995.
She was pastor of churches in McCook, Kimball, Stratton, Bayard, Gering and Elsie in the former Nebraska Conference before her retirement in 2013.
She was preceded in death by husbands Allan and John. Survivors include a sister-in-law and niece.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 26, at First United Methodist Church, Fort Collins, Colo. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, at Haxtun Cemetery in Haxtun, Colo.
