Bishop David Wilson continues his video journal of a trip with 37 members of the Great Plains Conference to Greece by sharing what the group did on its second day in Thessaloniki, Greece. The group visited the Church of St. Demetrios, which is named after a Christian martyr and had the chance to watch the final few minutes of a Greek Orthodox worship service. It also visited ruins uncovered of a forum near downtown Thessaloniki, and it visited the huge wall from the Byzantine Period that served as the fortification of the ancient city of Thessalonica. Then, for fun, the group enjoyed time on a pirate ship before exploring the downtown of this initial host city.
