He received his master of divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology in 1998 and his doctor of ministry from Gordon Conwell Theology in 2007.
Hale served churches in Doniphan-Rosedale-Inland-Trumbull (associate), Valentine, Kilgore-Cody Hunt's Chapel, Cairo-Boelus Grace, Mira Valley-Arcadia, and Callaway-Morning Star, where he serve4d from 2022 until he took a medical leave in May 2023.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, at First United Methodist Church, Shenandoah, Iowa. Memorials in his name are being directed the Methodist Men at the Shenandoah First.
