Jeanne Bakely, 95; widow of a retired elder. Born Aug. 10, 1929; died June 20, 2025.
Her husband of 66 years, Rev. Donald C. Bakely, served churches in New Jersey before coming to Kansas City, Kan., in 1965 to become executive director of Crosslines Cooperative Council, retiring in 1992.
Survivors include her children, Paul, Rev. Claudia Bakely (a retired Great Plains Conference elder and cabinet member), Peter (Lisa), Lois (Dale) Ferguson, and Bethany; and six grandsons.
A private service will be held for family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross-Lines Community Outreach in KCK, or Evergreen Hospice, Olathe.
