From 1989 to 2010, she served as a deacon and education minister at Emporia First UMC.
Survivors include her mother, Nell Duncan; and two sisters.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Red Bridge Baptist Church in Kansas City, Mo.
