Rev. James Stillman, 81; retired Great Plains Conference clergy. Born Sept. 20, 1943; died Sept. 11, 2025.
After receiving a Master of Theology degree from Boston University, he served as pastor at Tilden-Faith-Oakdale and Lincoln First, as well as campus minister at Nebraska Wesleyan University from 1977 to 1984 and campus minister at the former Kearney State College from 1984 to 1992. He retired in 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Ann; children Christopher (Erin) and Annick (Robert); and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. ET Saturday, Oct. 25, at First Parish in Dorchester, Mass. Memorial donations are recommended to organizations supporting Alzheimer's research or social justice.
