Hey Preacher

Are you interested in spending some time in reconsidering how you prepare, construct, and deliver your weekly sermon? Are you hoping to connect with God and with your people through your preaching in the year ahead? This workshop is for lay preachers, new preachers who are still developing their approach to preaching, and for experienced preachers who are interested in hearing a fresh perspective from a valued leader.

Event Details

This one-day workshop will be led by Rev. Dr. Derek Weber, the director of Preaching Ministries at Discipleship Ministries for the UMC at two locations in the Great Plains. The workshop will be repeated at each place with a focus on laity at the Saturday event and on clergy at the Monday event. Laity would be welcome to attend the Monday event and clergy to attend the Saturday, but the focus of the event will be as named.

The cost is $15 and includes lunch and .4 CEU’s.
