Rev. Harold Kieler, 96; retired Great Plains Conference pastor. Born Oct. 14, 1929; died Dec. 5, 2025.
A Korean War veteran, he became a full elder in 1958, and served Adairville-Oakland, Belle Plaine, Winfield Grace, Wichita Trinity, El Dorado First, Augusta and Wichita First (associate), until his retirement in 1995. He also served as Dodge City District superintendent from 1972-1978.
He married Lorine Martin, who died on Dec. 20, 2019.
Survivors include his sons, Benjamin (Deb) Kieler, William Kieler and Paul (Janet) Kieler; and five grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at Wichita First UMC. Memlorias are suggested to the church.
