Glen Emert, 81; retired Great Plains Conference pastor. Born Oct. 31, 1943; died May 25, 2025.
A U.S. Army veteran, he received his Master of Divinity degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was received into the former Nebraska Conference, serving churches in Burwell-Taylor, Hershey-Sutherland, Oshkosh Lewellen, Pleasanton-Ravenna Zion, Laurel-Logan Center and Broken Bow for 30 years until his retirement in 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Emert; daughters, Joy (Bobby) Martin, Kelle (Merlin) Dikeman and Bernice (Terry) Holland, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were May 28 in Westerville, Neb. Memorials were suggested to the Westerville Cemetery.
