Rev. Dr. F. Cole Fowler, 78, retired Great Plains Conference pastor. Born Aug. 24, 1947; died Oct. 22, 2025.
He served as pastor in former Nebraska Conference churches in Clinton and Gordon, Kearney Faith, Waverly, Omaha St. Paul and Aurora, as well as the South Central District superintendent from 1997-2003. Following his retirement in 2013, he served Fremont Calvary and Hooper.
His wife, Dianne Fowler, preceded him in death on March 13, 2022.
Survivors include his sons, Rev. Dr. F. Matt Fowler (Margo), pastor of Bellevue St. James, and Jason (Jennifer); six grandchildren and two sisters.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at Omaha St. Luke's UMC, with private interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Elkhorn. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Reichmuth Funeral Home, Elkhorn.
