De Etta Edgar, 84; widow of Great Plains Conference clergy. Born Sept. 4, 1937; died July 8, 2025.

She married Rev. A. George Edgar on June 9, 1957. He served as chaplain at Bryan Memorial Hospital; chaplain at State Hospital in Lincoln, director of Community Development Program, Lincoln Regional Center, program administrator for Region V Mental Health Program in Lincoln, administrative coordinator at Medical Services Division DPI in Lincoln, facility community for Nebraska Department of Public Institutions; Richard Young Family Life Center in North Platte, emergency program coordinator for Region VI Mental Health in Omaha and program services manager for Region VI Mental Health, Omaha; until his retirement in 1996. He preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 2018.

Survivors include two sons, Jay Edgar and Mark Edgar (Lynn); son-in-law, David Giraud; and three granddaughters.

Memorial services were July 14. Donations may be made in De's name to the International Quilt Museum at UNL,1523 N. 33rd St, Lincoln, NE 68583, or to Lincoln Municipal Band, 315 South 9th St, Suite 110, Lincoln, NE 68508.
