Dana Scott, 71, spouse of a retired Great Plains Conference clergy. Born June 28, 1954; died Nov. 30, 2025.
The retired owner of Scott-Hourigan Company, he married Mary Priefert on March 20, 1982. Mary Scott served as a local pastor in Aurora-Bradshaw (associate), as well as Sutton Federated Church and Bradshaw. After her 2024 retirement, she has been serving Stromsburg-Polk.
Besides his wife, survivors include sons Zac (Amanda) Scott, Nick (Kelsey) Scott, Ryan (Sarah) Scott, Adam (Anna) Scott and Curtis (Sydney) Scott; and four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, at York UMC. Memorials may be directed to the church.
