Bishop David Wilson visited with Rev. Hollie Tapley, conference disaster response coordinator, in Grinnell, Kansas, on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, to receive an update on relief efforts for people devastated by a tornado that hit the small western Kansas town earlier in the week.

In this impromptu video from the scene, the bishop urges United Methodists in Kansas and Nebraska to donate to the disaster response fund as a means of helping people start the rebuilding process.
