Bishop David Wilson has provided an Easter message for the Great Plains Conference. In his message, the bishop invites United Methodists in Kansas and Nebraska to use their imaginations and visualize what they would have seen at the empty tomb on that first Easter morning.
He also shares a longtime tradition among the Muscogee Creek people that highlights the presence of women at the tomb of Jesus and their importance in the world today.
Bishop Wilson invites us to seek justice for all people — as Jesus did during his time as a human being on earth and up to today — even as we celebrate his resurrection.
